These
methods include zip code tracking and direct count. The zip code collection has
allowed us to validate that we are attracting visitors from greater than 50 miles in
distance. We have also been able to validate that tourist from outside of the State
of Washington and even the United States are stopping and exploring Cle Elum.
Our direct count methods include conducting walking counts throughout our
events. The count occurs approximately every half hour out at locations where
events are being held. We also ask retail partners to help keep track by counting
shoppers in their businesses.
Additionally, we measure our results through google analytics, registration forms,
and social media reports on ads placed and engagements. we will also be adding
data from our new website which will feature such as our hub for communication
starting in2023, we will be adding an informal survey to our marketing materials,
asking participants whether they are lodging overnight during their experience at
our events.
