9129122, 1'l:13 AM
Response 3:
Measuring Results*
LTAC Clerk Review
Describe how you will promote your evenUactivity/facility to attract tourists.
Promotion of the show will come in various formats. The surveys conducted help
measure the impact of tourism and where we can expand. Each show has
conducted surveys capturing information such as: where shoppers come from, is
this their first time to Ellensburg, did they stay the night and what are they doing
while in town. Moving foruuard in2023, we will be looking at moving to a ticketing
process that will allow for zip code findings and will continue the survey process.
This in turn will help with determining the place in which the show drew shoppers
from.
Target marketing will assure the show is attracting tourists from at least 50 miles
away. Marketing advertising money will be used in the Seattle/Portland market,
Coeur de 'Lane market as well as Central Washington area including Wenatchee,
Moses Lake and Tri-Cities to name a few. We will look at using specific URL's in
the advertising to be able to track location effectiveness.
Not only do shoppers come from all over, but vendors do as well, with places like
Sandpoint lD., Hermiston, OR., Waterville, Moses Lake, Puyallup, Edmonds,
Spokane and more. These vendors all have their own following of fans which will
travel to catch them at their next show. I will be working with vendors to get out
fliers at the other shows they participate in as well as advertising to their fan base
2500 character limit
Application Questions: Part 3
4l Gollaboration
lf your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events,
how is this accomplished?
4.1 Collaboration *Collaboration is the key strategy to promoting the entire County. I plan to work with
and cross promote by partnering with fellow businesses and events such as the
following:
Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce - member related promotions such as
weekly bulletin, networking activities, etc.
The Patch - cross promotion of events and promotion of her event on social
media.
Thorp Fruit & Antique Mall - fliers and cross promotions
Sure Stay Hotel by Best Western- block rooms and cross promote
Huntsman's Tavern - Discount promotions and cross advertising
Gard Vintner's - Discount promotions and cross advertising
2500 character limit
lf-app-16-03.co.kittitas.wa.us/Forms/form/submission/history/77656/85651?hideHeader=true 7114
