DEPARTMENT OF <br />ErO Y <br />State or Washington <br />AMENDMENT NO.1 <br />TO AGREEMENT NO. SWMLSWFA-2021-KiCoSW-00012 <br />BETWEEN <br />THE STATE OF WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY <br />AND <br />KITTITAS COUNTY SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT <br />PURPOSE: To amend the above -referenced agreement (AGREEMENT) between the state of Washington Department of <br />Ecology (ECOLOGY) and KITTITAS COUNTY SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT (RECIPIENT) for the IMP Kittitas SW <br />(PROJECT). <br />This amendment will increase the total eligible cost by $40,000 from $326,892 to $366,892 (by 530,000 from $245,169 to <br />$275,169, State share). The amendment will also be moving funds from Task 2- CROP to Task 3- ORG. The new task <br />budgets are as follows: <br />Task 1 - MRW is increased by $40,000 from $177,333.33 to $217,333.33 (by $30,000 from $133,000 to $163,000, state <br />share) <br />Task 2 - CROP is decreased by $20,000 from $36,906.67 to $16,906.67 (by $15,000 from $27,680 to $12,680, state <br />share) <br />Task 3 - ORG is increased by $20,000 from $112,652 to $132,652 (by $15,000 from $84,489 to $99,489, state share) <br />The scope of work and expected outcomes for all tasks remain the same. Recipient underestimated the cost to achieve the <br />expected outcomes for Tasks 1 and 3, and overestimated the cost to achieve the expected outcomes for Task 2. <br />IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED that the AGREEMENT is amended as follows: <br />Total Cost: <br />Original: 326,892.00 Amended: 366,892.00 <br />Total Eligible Cost: <br />Original: 326,892.00 Amended: 366,892.00 <br />Project Short Description: <br />Original: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste will spend $326,892.00 to support waste prevention, reduction and recycling as well as the <br />proper management of household hazardous waste (HEW) and organic material, resulting in 400 tons of materials recycled, 45 <br />tons of HEW properly managed and 4,500 tons of organics diverted from the landfill. <br />Amended: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste will spend $366,892.00 to support waste prevention, reduction and recycling as well as the <br />Template Version 10./30/2015 <br />
