previously protected by the Schaake Levee, which Kittitas County conveyed to the <br />Bureau of Reclamation for habitat restoration purposes. This project is part of broader <br />Yakima Basin Integrated Plan habitat improvement efforts. The provided funding <br />completes the removal of all water right users on TJossem Ditch. Once all water right <br />users are removed from the ditch, the flood control zone district will pursue remedial <br />efforts on the ditch. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS: <br />Public Works proposes to fund this activity through both the Flood Control Fund, due to <br />associated benefits from removing at risk flood infrastructure, and the Water Resources <br />Fund.
