Recipients and subrecipbnts of federal financial assistarpe progmms for infrastructure are hereby notifted that norB of the <br />funds pwided urder this award may be used for a projeot for infrastructure unless: <br />(1) all iron ard sleel used in tle proJect are produced in the United State+tils rneans all manufacturing procesges, from the <br />initial melting etage through the appfication of coatings, occurred in tle united states, <br />(2) all-manufactured products used in the projed are produced in the United states--this rneans the manufactured product was <br />manufactured in the United States; and the cost of the components d the manufiactured product that are m;ned, prod,rceO. ot <br />manufactured in the United States is greater than 55 percent of the total cost of all components of te nnnufactuied podud, <br />unless anolher standard for determining the minimum amount of dornestic content of the nmnufaclured prodlc{ has 6een <br />established under applicable law or regrXation; and <br />(3) all construction materials are rnanulachrred in tle United States--thts means that all manufacturing proo€sses for the <br />constnntion material occuned in the United Slates. <br />The Buy Arnerica preference only applies to arlicles, materlats, ard supplies that are consumed in, incorporated into, or <br />afiixed to an infrastructure prqect.
