For one exciting day the building springs to life with Junktiquen in the
Burg's vintage market. Junktiquen invites crowds to peruse and shop up-cycled
and re-purposed decor, furniture, and accessories. Vendors roll into town from all
corners of the Pacific Northwest, from the southernmost tip of Oregon to small
towns in ldaho, towns on Washington's West coast and everything in between.
The vendors take their load full of items and transform them into their own small
store front for shoppers to enjoy. Vintage markets are extremely popular across
America and have a very large following. Shoppers will travel miles and miles to
catch the next great show!
Ellensburg's centralized location in Washington encourages visitors to travel from
all over. Every year, hundreds of new Junktiquer's travel to Ellensburg, and many
people plan girls'weekends and family vacations around the event. The audience
I am targeting is ages 1B to B0 and everything in between. The structure of the
show reaches various ages with the different types of items offered. Some
shoppers may like the true antiques while other shoppers may prefer more of the
re-purposed items such as jewelry made from vintage spoons, plants planted in a
vintage tin or up-cycled furniture. There are lots of amazing one of a kind finds to
see and shop.
2500 character Iimit
Please provide us link to a brief video summary of you organization's evenUproject.
