REET 1 and revisiting after 3 or more years. The asked staff to bring documents back for <br />Boards review.. <br />Request Boards approval for the Chair electronically sign the Public Works Trust fund <br />loan documents for the new Solid Waste Facility. Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve; <br />Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion approved 2-0. <br />Review 30% design of new Transfer Station Facility. Patti reviewed the design with the <br />Board and discussion was held. <br />Maintenance Update <br />Jail Elevator project update. Patti informed the Board that the Elevator company ran into an <br />unknown situation in the elevator shaft and will need to have a drilling company come into drill <br />out the old casing. Patti will bring back the cost for approval once more information is available. <br />The wrong estimate is $98,000 at this time, but the drilling company will be on site next week to <br />give a more detailed cost estimate. <br />Requestion Boards approval for Chairs signature on Change order #1 for the Bloom <br />Pavilion addition. Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve; Commissioner Wright seconded. <br />Motion approved 2-0. <br />Update on parking lot projects. Patti informed the Board that she has a preapplication meeting <br />scheduled this week with the City of Ellensburg. The design team is waiting to hear how many <br />EV charging stations the City will require. Commissioner Wright suggested researching with <br />local companies to see about types of EV stations are recommended and maintenance <br />requirements. <br />Other Business, Discussion was held regarding the Bowling Alley permitting. <br />Executive session The Board went into an executive session at 2:55 for 5 minutes no action <br />anticipated under RCW 42.30.110 (g) To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public <br />employment or to review the performance of a public employee. However, subject to RCW <br />42.30.140(4), discussion by a governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of <br />employment to be generally applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting open to the <br />public, and when a governing body elects to take final action hiring, setting the salary of an <br />2023-02-14 MINUTES <br />
