Mrs.
Morache noted that FISH Food Bank is a single point of distribution, which means they supply food to other local
food banks and the loss would have large impacts on our community. There was discussion about Second Harvest
and what role they play in the big picture of funding in the state. Through community fundraising and campaigning
FISH has gained 13,000 lbs. of food. Mrs. Morache discussed the storing of food and cooking classes taught at the
food bank. Mrs. Morache also informed the board that on February 1, 2023 FISH would be looking for a new director.
They are hopeful to have someone in place by the end of June and in a mentor position until Mrs. Morache retires
her position.
Annual Kittitas County Board of Health Member Orientation
Chelsey Loeffers presented the annual Local Board of Health Annual Orientation part one.
