Those same projects will receive annual Fire and Life Safety <br />Inspections eachyear after the initial inspection until the project has been rendered unused. For special events, the Fire and Life <br />Safety Inspection will take place 24-48 hours prior to the event qnd scheduled by the primary contact for the event. These inspections <br />will comply with the International Fire Code (IFC), Kittitas County Code (KCC) and other applicable National Fire Protection <br />Association (NFPA) standards. <br />A Required <br />Comments: <br />Tents and/or Membrane Structures - All tent and/or membrane structures shall be temporary and comply with Chapter j I, <br />Section 3103 ofthe IFC, as well as other referenced codes and standards therein. A permit shatt be required. <br />d Required <br />Comments: <br />Special Event Structures - All structures erectedfor the purpose of a temporary event shqll be temporary and comply with <br />Chapter 3l, Section 3105 of the IFC, as well as other referenced codes and standards therein. A permit shall be required. <br />d Required <br />Comments: <br />Fire Extinguishers - Fire extinguishers are requiredfor every 75' of travel and must be mounted so thqt the top of the <br />extinguisher is no more than 4' above the floor. Fire extinguishers must be serviced annually by a third party inspector and be a <br />minimum of 4lbs and be of type 10:A 20:BC. <br />e Required <br />Comments: An extinguisher every 75' sounds unrealistic for a road race such as this.
