Attached for your consideration is the
City of Cle Elum's Phase 3C south block improvements between Pennsylvania Avenue and Harris
Avenue, including the southeast corner of the First Street and Harris Avenue intersection. This
project will create critical public and private utility system connections necessary to construct all
proposed improvements between the previous Phase 3A and Phase 38 project limits, as well as
complete the City's revitalization vision, previously expressed only in pen-and-ink concept
drawings, along another block of our downtown.
Our total funding request for the First Street Revitalization Phase 3C - Pennsylvania Avenue
to Harris Avenue project is $756,684, with a City match of $85,000.
The application and attachments convey our pride in the strides we have made so far to make
our revitalized downtown a reality, as well as our desire to continue construction for all of Phase
3. We have greatly benefitted from Kittitas County grant programs in the past and look forward to
the potential of continuing our partnership on the Downtown Revitalization. Let's keep the
momentum going!
Thank you again for this opportunity. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact
me at (5Og) 674-2262.
Sincerely,
Ja v
Mayor
o
w
