BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - <br />ON -SYSTEM ROAD ESTABLISHEMENT OF ROAN DRIVE AND DAPPLE GRAY <br />WAY WITHIN THE PALOMINO FIELDS DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS: The Palomino Fields Development has been developed in phases II through VIII, <br />with Phase VIII receiving Final Plat approval December 7, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS: Final plat dedicates the right-of-way for Roan Drive as public road; and <br />WHEREAS: Preliminary and Final plat dedicate the right-of-way for Dapple Gray Way as <br />private road; and <br />WHEREAS: To provide connectivity and continuity throughout the development, the <br />developer has submitted an application for on system road establishment of Roan <br />Drive and Dapple Gray Way; and <br />WHEREAS: Utilities, including water and sanitary sewer, are to remain privately owned and <br />maintained; and <br />WHEREAS: Said roads were constructed according to approved plans and were certified <br />through the Public Works Road certification process; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners did hold the required public <br />hearing Tuesday, February 7, 2023, to hear testimony regarding adopting the said <br />roads onto the County Road System. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby adopt Roan Drive and Dapple Gray Way within the <br />Palomino Field Development, onto the Kittitas County Road System and directs the County <br />Engineer to update (as pertinent) the County Road Log and other documents associated with on - <br />system road establishment. <br />DATED this 7a' day of February 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board -Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
