BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN <br />INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR <br />COMMUNITYDEVELOPMENTBLOCK GRANT -CORONAVIRUS (CDBG-CV-1)PROGRAM <br />CONTRACT #20-6221C-115 <br />RESOLUTION NO.2021- <br />WHEREAS,Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW,the Interlocal CooperationAct,authorizes <br />pubile agencies to enter into agreements for mutually advantageousjoint or cooperative action; <br />and <br />WHEREAS,Kittitas County and WashingtonState Department of Commerce are public <br />agencies within the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW;and <br />WHEREAS,Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce will enter <br />into the agreement to fund the Costs incurred for the Activities to prevent,prepare for,and <br />respond to coronavirus in partnership with local service providers for the CDBG-CV1 consortium <br />area.in Kittitas County for the period of March 27,2020 thru January 31,2023. <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />authorizes the execution of the Interagency Agreement with Washington State Department of <br />Commerce,attached hereto,and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />APPROVED,this 2ND day of March 2021,at EIIensburg,Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY SHINGT <br />Brett,achsmith,Chairman <br />AssENT <br />Laura Osi dacz,Vice-Chairman <br />ATTEST <br />'t Cory Wright,commissioner <br />Clerk of the B rd <br />Contract Page 017
