30 -how work week to a 40 -hour work week and recommend expanding the SBDC partnership to focus <br />on administrative work. <br />The recommendations are based on the analysis of Kittitas County's growth in the next 10 years. From <br />employment trends increasing 4.3% in 2022 year over year while the unemployment rate decreasing. <br />The cost of living is 3.1 % higher in Kittitas County than the U.S. Average. <br />These positions have their work cut out for them over the next year. Employment in Kittitas County is <br />projected to expand by 286 jobs. The fastest growing sector in the region is expected to be Arts, <br />Entertainment, and Recreation with a +3.5% year -over -year rate of growth. The strongest forecast by <br />number of jobs over this period is expected for Accommodation and Food Services (+70 jobs), <br />Educational Services (+43), and Health Care and Social Assistance (+42). <br />These positions will need to have funding support to provide rural services which will provide the ability <br />to reach low-income, underserved women -owned and BIPOC entrepreneurs. Creating the door-to-door <br />service will help with those surrounding areas that may not be otherwise served.
