2023-01-30 MINUTES 2 <br />the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, <br />or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the <br />discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency. There was no action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 3:47 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There <br />was no action taken. <br /> <br />At 3:48 p.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess back <br />into an Executive Session for five (5) minutes with Chris Horner, <br />Deputy Prosecutor and Greg Zempel, Prosecutor, to discuss with legal <br />counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency <br />enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing <br />the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, <br />the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, <br />or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the <br />discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency. There was no action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 3:53 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There <br />was no action taken. <br /> <br />Other Business: <br /> <br />The Board agreed to authorize up to $2,500.00 for relocation <br />assistance for a candidate that Greg Zempel, Prosecutor, was <br />requesting to hire as a Deputy Prosecutor. They indicated the <br />allocation would be on a reimbursable basis, with receipts, and if <br />the employee were to leave employment before 6-months of employment, <br />they would be responsible for paying back the amount to the County <br />that was reimbursed to them. <br /> <br />The meeting was concluded at 3:57 p.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik Cory Wright, Chairman <br />
