Future Plans*EDE strives to use tickets sales from the previous productions along with donations <br />from aris patrons, sponsors. and fundraisers to fund future productions and help us <br />grow. <br />EDE engages in annual fundraising. has member dues. and looks for sponsors for <br />every production. We have a very committed board of dance parents and community <br />members who act as boosters for our company and support our dancers in every <br />way. <br />For The Nutcracker. EDE's collaboration agreement with CWU states that 30% of <br />the ticket sales and fee of $'1 .500 are paid to CWU. This pays for the use of <br />McConnell Hall, CWU Lighting and Stage staff, Stage Manager, House Manager and <br />other expenses. <br />Also, this arrangement allows the production to be included in the CWU Theater <br />Season and therefore included in all CWU mailings and advertising, as well as on <br />the CWU website. Tickets for The Nutcracker are sold through the CWU ticket office <br />and plans are in the works to allow the Kittitas County Visitor Center as a ticketing <br />location as well. <br />EDE works to keep ticket prices low so our community members can afford to attend <br />and perhaps support us with larger donations over time. <br />250i1 .haracter limii <br />Application Questions'. Both had to be <br />cancelled due to COVID'19. Our rehearsals start months ahead of the performances <br />and we were urrable to secure performance and rehearsal spaces, and could not <br />gather a sufficient number of dancers to ensure successful productions. <br />2500 character Iinrit <br />Additional lnformation The Nutcracker is only performed every other year.202A would have been our <br />Nutcracker year, so we have not been able to collect data for a Nutcracker <br />production since 2018.
