Additional lnformation Thank you so much for reading WSSSM's application lor lhe 2022 Kittitas County <br />Lodging Tax Grant. We recognize that this is a lengthy process for committee <br />menrbers. and we appreciate your time and energy to consider our application. <br />WSSSM worked hard in 2021 to be good stewards of ihe Lodging Tax Funds. By <br />partnering with Craters of the Moon, our advertising was done creatively and <br />professionally AND at minimal costl Megan Smiley of Sunny & Smiley is a sought <br />after media buyer who we are lucky enough to have on our team at no cost. Not only <br />is Megan giving us the best advice. but she is also getting WSSSM great pricing. <br />As the Marketing Director for the museum, l. Kathy McDonald. bring more than 25 <br />years of marketing expertise to our organization. I look forward to partnering with <br />others in ihe county to raise awarerress and create tourism events and opportunities <br />for both WSSSM and others in the county. I have gotten much more involved in <br />CAMAH this year and am having fun creating a brand new website. <br />As WSSSM enters its 7th year of operation in 2022. we are super excited about 3 <br />tlrings: <br />1. NEW Snowboarding Exhibit and Fihn. After a Covid stall. the Snowboard exh jbit <br />and film is on itswayto being done_ We are excited forthe events and promotion <br />around this new exhibit. <br />2. ln Person Eventst As Covid permits. we are lookirrg forward to offering boih in <br />person and hybrid/zoom events on a wide range of toprcs. \Ale have a number of <br />folks lined up lor this fall and winterl <br />3. OTT/Television Advertising. Nothing showcases our r"r.tuseum like video can. <br />Shouid we be awarded Lodging lax Grant Funds. we are especially inierested in <br />OTT/Streamed Media and Television Adverlising. <br />We are grateful to have been awarded a grant in 2021 and hope to earn your trust <br />again in 2022.We knowthatthe museum is unique in being one of the onlyfacilities <br />to provide culture and tourisnr drawing events in the Norlhern part of the County. <br />We hope that you enjoy our video presenialion, atrd we look forward to meeting with <br />you and answering your questions. <br />Thank you <br />Kathy McDonald, WSSSM Marketing Director <br />Dave Moffett, Founder & President.
