At the Roslyn Cemetery we have a poster displayed year- <br />round that includes our individual donors as well as our public and corporate <br />pa(ners and sponsors. We have also encouraged people to utilize those businesses <br />with prizes and gifts from those businesses (i.e. door prizes as a result of the lodging <br />surveys). Banners have also been hung up for our local sponsors at our evenis. <br />25tl0 chatacter linril <br />Application Questions: Part 3 <br />4l Collaboration <br />lfyour organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events, <br />how is this accomplished? <br />4.1 Collaboration*We have partnered and collaborated with over 30 businesses and organizations. <br />Most of these partnerships and collaborations have happened by meeting in person <br />with the organizer or business owner. Our group of volunteers have a broad reach <br />and are deeply involved with our community which allows us to establish long lastrng <br />relationships. <br />Networking also has served as a means to collaborate with organizations outside of <br />our county. lrrvolvement with the Roslyn Cenretery has also provided us with an <br />opportunity io network, collaborate and partner with several organizations located <br />outside of Kittitas County. Virtual meetings during Covid have provided us avenues <br />of meeting people from the Black Heritage Society of Washington, Newcastle <br />Cemetery & Hisiorical Society, King County Historic Preservation Landmarks <br />Commission. Museum of History & Industry, and the Association of King County <br />Htstorical Organizations. <br />We have also increased and strengthened our partnership with Central Washington <br />University, utilizing their students and faculty to assist us with Ground Penetrating <br />Radar, mapping, and online research. <br />We will explore ideas on how to attract visitors during off peak times by collaborating <br />with other local treasures such as the Roslyn Museum, Carpenter Museum, and <br />Telephone Museum. Currently, we are working on expanding our partnerships to <br />include lodging choices to our members and visitors.
