BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - <br />ON -SYSTEM ROAD ESTABLISHMENT FOR ROADS WITHIN THE NORTHERN <br />PORTION OF THE BLACK HORSE AT WHISKEY CREEK PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS: The Black Horse at Whiskey Creek Planned Unit Development received <br />preliminary plat approval on February 6, 2007, and Final Plat approval of Phase 1 <br />including 80 lots was approved December 21, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS: Preliminary and Final plat identify a road network within the development and <br />dedicate the right-of-way as public; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved phase does not include all of the road network providing access to <br />the development, for which the developer has submitted an application for on <br />system road establishment. The additional road network requires establishment <br />providing connectivity throughout the northern portion of the development; and <br />WHEREAS: Said roads were constructed according to approved plans; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners did hold the required public <br />hearing Tuesday, January 17, 2023, to hear testimony regarding adopting the said <br />roads onto the County Road System. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby adopt 29`h Avenue, Mustang Court, Morgan Court, <br />Longhorn Loop and those portions of Roundup Drive, Wrangler Drive and Bridge Way located <br />north of 291h Avenue and within the Black Horse at Whiskey Creek Planned Unit Development, <br />onto the Kittitas County Road System and directs the County Engineer to update (as pertinent) <br />the County Road Log and other documents associated with on -system road establishment. <br />DATED this 17th day of January 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
