KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 17, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider/acknowledge reappointments or NEW <br />appointments to the following County Boards, <br />Committees and Commissions: Fair Board; Public <br />Lands Advisory Committee & Airport Advisory <br />Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Currently the County has multiple vacancies on its <br />volunteer Boards, Committees and Commissions. <br /> Staff advertised in June and September of 2022 for <br />all upcoming and current vacancies. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Staff published notice of vacancies through the <br />County’s Press Release application which sends <br />notice to the Daily Record, the County website and <br />its subscribers as well as KXLE Radio. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Consider the Reappointments of Bradley <br />Gasawski, Steve Worley, Greg Parker & <br />Bridget Wood for a 3 year term to the Public <br />Lands Advisory Committee, effective <br />1/1/2023 and to expire 12/31/2025. <br /> <br /> Consider the Reappointments of Becky <br />Sherley, Brittany Pearson, Clay Myers, <br />Becky McDowell, Robert Eddings, Amy <br />Cziske, and Jarred Fudacz, for a 3 year term <br />to the Kittitas County Fair Board effective <br />1/1/2023 and to expire 12/31/2025. <br /> <br /> Consider the Reappointment of Brian <br />McElroy to the Kittitas County Airport <br />Advisory Committee (AAC) & <br />Acknowledge the City’s request for Mayor <br />Lillquist to remain on the AAC for a 3 year <br />term, effective 1/1/2023 and to expire <br />12/31/2025.
