Bacon: <br /> <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposed development of parcel(s) # <br />770236, 11894, 16198, 770236, 11839, 11840, 11841, 11842, 16210, 962679, 962676, <br />Assessor’s Map numbers 20-14-11000-0004, -0006, -0014, and -0015, 20-14-14000-0005, - <br />0006, -0007, -0008, and -0013, 20-14-13052-0213 and -0216 south of Swiftwater Drive in Cle <br />Elum, WA. <br /> <br />As noted in the Kittitas County Application for Long Plat Materials, the proposal is for the <br />development of 72 residential lots, associated roadway, clubhouse and pool amenity, open space <br />and service tracts on approximately 290.3 acres. <br /> <br />Based on a cursory review of aerial imagery, it appears that the parcels are primarily forested <br />land. It is also noted in the SEPA Checklist that “Forest Practices Permits” will be required. If <br />merchantable timber is removed/harvested as part of the proposal or if converting to non-forestry <br />use, a Forest Practices Application (FPA) may be required (RCW 76.09 and WAC 222). The <br />FPA would need to meet the requirements of the Forest Practices Act and its rules.
