(Ord. 2013-001, 2013; Ord. 2012-009, 2012; Ord. 93-1 (part), 1993) <br /> <br />Chapter 17.52 <br />I-G GENERAL INDUSTRIAL ZONE <br />Sections <br />17.52.010 Purpose and intent. <br />17.52.015 Development within the Ellensburg Urban Growth Area UGA) <br />17.52.020 Allowed uses. <br />17.52.030 Repealed. <br />17.52.040 Front, side and rear yard requirements. <br />17.52.050 Setbacks. <br />17.52.060 Height restrictions. <br />17.52.080 Access. <br />17.52.010 Purpose and intent. <br />This zone is intended to accommodate certain industrial structures and uses that could create serious <br />problems of compatibility with other kinds of land uses and to protect such zones from <br />encroachment by conflicting land uses. (Ord. 2013-001, 2013; Ord. 83-Z-2 (part), 1983) <br />17.52.015 Development within the Ellensburg Urban Growth Area (UGA) <br />For properties located within the City of Ellensburg UGA, the uses and development standards in <br />KCC 17.11.030 through 17.11.039 shall be utilized. Where KCC 17.11.030 through 17.11.039 does not <br />identify development uses and standards to be utilized for development within the Ellensburg UGA, <br />this chapter shall apply. <br />17.52.020 Uses permitted. <br />Uses allowed in the general industrial zone include those uses pursuant to KCC Chapter 17.15. (Ord. 2013-001, 2013; Ord. 2012-009, 2012; Ord 2007-22, 2007; Ord. 93-1 <br />(part), 1993; Ord. 83-Z2 (part), 1983) <br />17.52.040 Front, side and rear yard requirements. <br />There are no yard requirements, unless the property abuts a parcel of land of more restricted nature <br />such as a commercial zone, in which case the requirements on the abutting side shall be those of the <br />abutting property. (Ord. 83-Z-2 (part), 1983) <br />17.52.050 Setbacks. <br />If any use in this zone abuts or faces any Residential or Urban Residential zone, a setback of fifty (50) <br />feet on the side abutting or facing the residential zone shall be provided, with tree planting or other <br />conditions necessary to preserve the character of the residential zone.
