Comply with any changes to allowable SPMP activities as directed by the CMO that may <br />include, but is not limited to the following: <br />5.8.1. Clinical consultation with medical providers regarding best practices and <br />adequacy of medical care covered by Medicaid. Includes, but is not limited to <br />the following areas: <br />5.8.1.1. Pediatric immunization issues; <br />5.8.1.2. Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD) Emerging <br />treatment/therapies for high risk populations; <br />5.8.1.3. Coordination of Medicaid -covered medical services for medically <br />at -risk populations; <br />5.8.1.4. Medically fragile children; <br />5.8.1.5. High risk pregnant women; <br />5.8.1.6. Homeless individuals; and <br />5.8.1.7. Individuals with multiple medical conditions. <br />5.8.2. Case staffing on the medical aspects of cases requiring Medicaid -covered <br />services including: <br />5.8.2.1. Medically involved children in foster care; <br />5.8.2.2. High risk pregnant women; and <br />5.8.2.3. Individual with communicable diseases requiring <br />extraordinary/non-standard medical care. <br />5.8.3. Planning and coordination with local medical providers to facilitate earlier <br />referrals and treatment for high-risk populations including but not limited to the <br />following: <br />5.8.3.1. Children in foster care; <br />5.8.3.2. Homeless individuals; and <br />5.8.3.3. Children with developmental delays or behavioral challenges. <br />5.8.4. Providing medical consultation to the state regarding the Medicaid state plan <br />including the following: <br />5.8.4.1.
