Activities condu cted using EMpG.ARpA funding should relate directly to the <br />five elements of emergenry management; prevention, protection, response,recovery, and mhigation. Washinglon <br />state does not require a specific number of activitles to receive EMPG-ARPA funding. Howarer, there are reguired <br />capabilities that must be sustained in orderto remain eligible for EMPG-ARPA funding; including but not timited to the <br />ability to communicate and warn, educate the public, plan, train, exercise, and be NIMS compliant.
