Target Zero <br />Managers will establish or strengthen relationships with key WSp district personnel to improve <br />interagency coordination with the W5p. <br />Goal <br />Prevent traffic crashes to reduce traffic related deaths and serious injuries through active, <br />visible, consistent, and targeted traffic law enforcement. HVE events will be data infcrmed; based on crash data, anecdotal evidence, and the <br />professionaljudgernent of task force members. WTSC strongly believes in the expertise <br />of localofficers to understand the highest priority areas in their communitie$ to focus <br />their efforts. <br />2. The SUB-RECIPIENT willensure ihat all officers partic;pating in these patrols are BAC <br />ceftified and have received and passed the SFST refresher training.3. 5UB-RgCIPIENT will ensure all officers participating in lmpaired Driving patrols have alss <br />received Advanced Roadside I m paired Driving Enlorcement {AR lDt } tra ining.4. 5UB'RECIPIENT shall ensure all participating personnel will use the WEMS system <br />provided by the WTSC to record all activities in digital activity logs conducted by their <br />commissioned officers pursuant to the HVE events. Participating officers will fill out all <br />applicable fields of the digital activity log and use the comments field to provide details <br />on an irregularities, challenges or other details that wauld help explain what was <br />enccuntered during their shift. 5UB-RECIPIENT will also ensure all supervisors and fiscal <br />staff have the ability to review and edit those activity logs. <br />5.
