4. Partnerships: List your key community partnerships for the proposed project and what <br />their role will be. (250 words max.) <br />The Cold Weather Shelter has operated for 8 years and is successful because of a wide <br />range of community partners. <br />The primary partners are: <br />Fish Food Bank, HopeSource, Ellensburg Police Department, Kittitas County Sheriff and <br />these churches: First Christian, Foursquare, Liberty Bible, Lutheran, Mercer Creek, <br />United Methodist. <br />Additional community resources already actively in place and with a strong history of <br />collaborating with the CWS include a consortium of providers for all aspects of <br />physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Examples of such provision are as follows: <br />Housing Authority, a recipient of VASH for veterans and Section 8 housing vouchers <br />for qualified households; WorkSource with employment specialists who provide <br />employment search and preparation resources; the Social Security SOAR program that <br />assists in moving from disability to ability; Central Transit, HopeSource Dial-A-Ride, <br />The Apple and Grape Lines that provide transportation services; Kittitas County <br />Commissioners who provide funding for homeless and at-risk individuals and families; <br />Central Washington Disability Resources and Elmview who offer training and disability <br />support; FISH who offers food and social suppor| Free Clinic Dental & Vision that <br />provides access to medicaltreatmenU and Goodwill and the Methodist Clothing Bank <br />for essential clothing and household needs. <br />I
