EXHIBIT "D": SCOPE OF WORK AND MATERIALS/DOCUMENTS INCORPORATED BY THE SCOPE OF <br />WORK. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />For <br />The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office <br />Marine Law Enforcement Patrol Vessel Replacement Grant <br />The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission Boating Program Marine Law <br />Enforcement Program, recipient (MLE) has the responsibility to administer federal financial <br />assistance grants as provided by the Department of Homeland Security through the United <br />States Coast Guard. Those grant funds may be used for recreational boating safety <br />activities to include enforcement of recreational boating safety laws, marine law enforcement <br />patrols as well as educational outreach projects. This grant contract is for the purchase of a <br />marine law enforcement patrol vessel replacement. The grant award is based on the <br />Replacement Vessel Description as described in Exhibit E (Kittitas County Sheriffs Office <br />Replacement Vessel Description) with a purchase price of $122,893.08. The grant award <br />amount will be $92,169.81 with a match requirement of $30,723.27. <br />In return, State Parks requires the Kittitas County Sheriffs Office (Subrecipient) to meet the <br />goals as stated in Exhibit D (Exhibit D Vessel Registration Fee Program Guidance for Marine <br />Law Enforcement Programs). In addition, the Agency is required to provide a 25% cash <br />match. Further, the Agency is required to obtain delivery of the replacement vessel as <br />described in Exhibit F (Kittitas County Sheriffs Office, Replacement Vessel Description) by <br />the end of federal fiscal year 2023, September 30, 2023, in order to seek reimbursement <br />under this grant. <br />The agency must also provide financial reports, performance reports, quarterly reports and <br />significant development reports as described in Exhibit E (Appendix 2023 Marine Law <br />Enforcement Patrol Vessel Replacement Grant, Notice of Funding Opportunity Number: 2022-01, <br />Federal Program: State Recreational Boating Safety Grant Program). These reporting <br />requirements will be in place through September 30, 2024. Failure to provide required reports <br />could result in reimbursement by the Agency to State Parks for any grant funds expended. <br />Reimbursement is to be made on an Exhibit G (Kittitas SO A-19 Invoice Voucher for Marine Law <br />Enforcement Patrol Vessel Replacement Grant) form as provided.
