10/17/2022 MINUTES 2 FISH as presented. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. DIRECTION BOWLING ALLEY COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION COMMISSIONERS Patti Stacey, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager/Interim Maintenance Director stated that the Bowling Alley Committee’s recommendation was for the Board to pursue the Ryan Whales proposal. She reviewed the specifics of the proposal and asked the Board if they were comfortable with her moving forward with Legal to begin the next steps. The Board stated they were in support of Ms. Stacey moving on to the next step. APPOINTMENT LTAC BRIAN MAGLIETTI COMMISSIONERS Commissioner Wright moved to appoint Brian Maglietti to the Kittitas County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee effective immediately and authorize Chair signature on a letter of appointment as presented. EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS At 9:20 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session with Chris Horner, Deputy Prosecutor for 10 minutes to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140(4), discussion by a governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of employment to be generally applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting open to the public, and when a governing body elects to take final action hiring, setting the salary of an individual employee or class of employees, or discharging or disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting open to the public.
