10/17/2022 MINUTES 2 <br />FISH as presented. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DIRECTION BOWLING ALLEY COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Patti Stacey, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager/Interim <br />Maintenance Director stated that the Bowling Alley Committee’s <br />recommendation was for the Board to pursue the Ryan Whales proposal. <br />She reviewed the specifics of the proposal and asked the Board if <br />they were comfortable with her moving forward with Legal to begin <br />the next steps. The Board stated they were in support of Ms. Stacey <br />moving on to the next step. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT LTAC BRIAN MAGLIETTI COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright moved to appoint Brian Maglietti to the Kittitas <br />County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee effective immediately and <br />authorize Chair signature on a letter of appointment as presented. <br />Commissioner Wachsmith seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:20 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into <br />an Executive Session with Chris Horner, Deputy Prosecutor for 10 <br />minutes to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public <br />employment or to review the performance of a public employee. <br />However, subject to RCW 42.30.140(4), discussion by a governing body <br />of salaries, wages, and other conditions of employment to be <br />generally applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting open to <br />the public, and when a governing body elects to take final action <br />hiring, setting the salary of an individual employee or class of <br />employees, or discharging or disciplining an employee, that action <br />shall be taken in a meeting open to the public. No action <br />anticipated. <br /> <br />At 9:30 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
