KITTITAS COUNTY <br />PUBLIC WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />In -Person and Webex <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM October 10, 2022 <br />Board Members Present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, and Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright <br />Others: Mark Cook, Arden Thomas, Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; Dan <br />Carlson, Jeremy Larson, Jeremiah Cromie, Jessica Miller, <br />Community Development Services; Neil Caulkins, Prosecuting Attorney <br />Office. <br />At 1:30 pm Chairman Laura Osiadacz opened the Public Works Study <br />Session. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />No Comments <br />2022 ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE 2019 KITTITAS COUNTY HAZARD MITIGATION <br />PLAN <br />Arden Thomas, Water Resource Manager, briefed the Board of County <br />Commissioners on the County's involvement in the Community Rating <br />System. Arden Thomas stated that staff has prepared a press release <br />highlighting actions, projects, and resources and an update to the <br />Hazard Mitigation Plan included coordination with Emergency <br />Management Staff to become familiar with a notification system for <br />Dam Hazards. Arden Thomas added that the Hazard Mitigation Plan will <br />expire September 2024, and staff is beginning the updates. <br />Meeting concluded at 1:35 pm. <br />2022-10-10 Minutes <br />
