BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COTINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No:2022* 18 (\ <br />Resolution Authorizing Chair Signature on an Amendment of the Kittitas County <br />Community Wildfire Protection Plan. <br />WHEREAS:The Board of County Commissioners adopted a Community <br />Wildfire Protection Plan in October 2018; and <br />WHEREAS:The adopted plan was developed with community outreach and co- <br />adopted by various fire chiefs in the county; and <br />WHEREAS:The Fire Chiefs desire amending the adopted plan including <br />appendices identifuing specific areas in the county for various fuel <br />reduction activities; and <br />WHEREAS:The Fire Chiefs believe adding appendices to the adopted plan <br />strengthens successful grant applications now and in the future. <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after <br />due consideration, does hereby amend the 2018 Community Wildfire Protection Plan <br />adding appendices identifuing specific locations for fuel reduction activities. <br />DATED this 4th day of October2022,at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Attest: <br />l4Clerkof the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Cory Wright, <br />f Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz
