KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />October 4, 2022 <br />Approve a Notice of Call for Sealed Bids to <br />furnish Snow & Ice Control Products for <br />Calendar Year 2023. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes <br />out to bid for the furnishing of specific snow & <br />ice products in accordance with specifications. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Bid specifications have been updated this <br />season to include notice regarding the handling <br />of fuel escalation as seen in the previous <br />contract cycle. <br />A Notice of Call for Bids is noticed in the <br />newspaper of record. <br />Bids will be opened on October 20, 2022, at <br />2:00 p.m., in the Public Works Department. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Notice of Call for Sealed bids <br />to furnish Snow & Ice Control Products for <br />2023. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) copy to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Call for Bids; Bid Packet <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson <br />County Engineer <br />
