Attachment 2 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />The GRANTEE shall cause or shall cause others to — <br />1) Historic Preservation Easement — File and record the Historic Preservation Easement <br />attached hereto as Attachment 2A. Such easement will be signed and notarized by the <br />GRANTEE and filed with the county recorder in the county in which the Heritage Barn is <br />located. <br />2) Repair the following elements of the Zuke Barn (Dunford Barn), including but not <br />limited to: <br />Roof Repair/Replacement <br />a. Remove layers of existing roofing material on barn. <br />b. Repair/replace underlying skip sheathing and rafters on barn as needed, <br />preserving as much historic material as possible. Sistering portions of existing materials <br />is preferred to complete replacement. Where replacement skip sheathing is required, <br />new material to exactly match original in size, dimension, and profile. OSB sheets are <br />not allowed; please plan to use plywood if new sheathing layer is required. <br />C. Install roof under layer on barn as needed/recommended for warranty by <br />manufacturer, to be approved by grant administrators. <br />d. Install a new roof on barn per manufacturer specifications. Roofing material will <br />be in accordance with the "Standards for Roof Replacement on Heritage Barns" <br />document published by the Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation and <br />approved by grant administrators prior to installation. <br />3) Provide final architectural/construction drawings and/or designs for the work noted <br />above to the Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation to ensure compliance <br />with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Rehabilitation of Historic Properties. <br />�y STATp of <br />State of Washington • Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation <br />P.O.
