09/19/2022 MINUTES 2 LETTER CITY OF CLE ELUM COMMISSIONERS Director Cook presented & reviewed a letter for discussion and consideration for the Board to approve & sign. Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve a Letter to the City of Cle Elum regarding Comprehensive Plan Updates as presented. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. DISCUSSION RECREATION PLANNING COMMISSIONERS Director Cook inquired with the Board, on getting them back involved with the ECRP – Rec Forum. He said its at a point where there needs to be a bigger player at the table than his Staff. The Board agreed Chairman Osiadacz would begin attending the meetings again. DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS The Board determined that for the week of September 19, 2022, they would share the Press Release for the County vacancies on the Boards, Committees and Commissions; HR Job Openings and information on the Treasurer’s Office tax collection site and hours for the Upper County. UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2022 were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at future meetings. Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective departments and exchanged details of those meetings. OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the Board participated in, individually over the past week. Director Cook presented a MFA Work Order Authorization between Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc., and Kittitas County. He said he was looking for verbal approval from the Board for him to sign. He stated that it is for $ 3,000.00 and has not been approved by legal however, he reviewed it and it’s very simple and nothing worrisome in it. The Board authorized him to sign.
