Kittitas County encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned consultant firms to respond. <br />SELECTION PROCESS AND PROPOSED SCHEDULE: <br />Kittitas County's selection will be based on review of submittals in the following manner: <br />1. The firm's or team's qualifications, experience and ability performing the requested work (50 points) <br />2. Detailed description of the firm's approach to the project (50 points). <br />3. Experience working in Kittitas County in the past five years (30 points). <br />4. Demonstrated experience delivering similar projects with the Local Agency leading the project (30 points). <br />5. Describe the team's strategy to keep track of project schedule and budget (30 points) <br />Anticipated Dates and Tasks <br />October 13,2A22 - Deadline for SOQ submittals <br />October 20,2022 - Selection of Finns to Interview <br />November 3,2022 - Interviews and Reference Checks <br />November 15,2022 - BOCC Contract Award <br />November 30,2022 - Executed Contract <br />The selection process shall be as follows <br />. Submittals are reviewed and scored by the Public Works selection committee.. Selection of top scoring firms to telephone interview.. County Engineer or designee interviews selected firms.. Public Works Director or County Engineer recommends award to Board of County Commissioners.. Board of County Commission design contract award.. The Public Works Director and/or County Engineer will negotiate a scope of work and fee with the selected <br />consultant.. The selected consultant will then enter into a Local Agency A & E Professional Services Consultant Agreement with <br />Public Works. <br />Kittitas County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 9tat.252,42 U.S.C. 2000d <br />to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into <br />pursuant to this adveftisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in <br />response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in <br />consideration for an award. <br />Kittitas County in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities <br />Act (ADA) commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of its programs and activities.
