09/12/2022 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON BOCC CONF. ROOM REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:00 A.M. SEPTEMBER 12, 2022 Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory Wright. Excused: Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Emily Smith, Administrative Assistant. REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened the Office Administration meeting. CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County Employee Personnel Action Forms and Vouchers. CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week ending September 9, 2022. SPECIAL EVENT TARP-IT COMMISSIONERS Commissioner Wright moved to approve a Special Event Application to hold the Tarp-It Inc. Company Party on September 20, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (September 21, 2022); granting a request for a waiver of Kittitas County Code Chapter 5.20.100 – Penal Bond – Bond of Indemnity and Chapter 5.20.160 – Closing Hours; and conditioned upon meeting the requirements from various County Departments. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. ACKNOWLEDGE PAUL GRAHAM DIST #3 COMMISSIONERS Commissioner Wright moved to acknowledge the membership change on the County Weed Dist. #3 from Mr. Charlton to Mr. Paul Graham for the Dist. #3 Director Vacancy. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
