08/29/2022 MINUTES 2 <br />Vice-Chairman Wright moved to approve the Notice of Approval to Hear <br />Property Tax Appeals. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2- <br />0. <br /> <br />SIGNATURE BIOSOLIDS APPLICATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wright moved to approve and authorize The Chairman’s <br />signature on a biosolids application for coverage under the state <br />permit. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />Patti Stacey left the meeting at 9:25 A.M. <br /> <br />SIGNATURE RV ACQUISITION & FUNDING REQUEST COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wright moved to approve the Chairman’s signature on a <br />letter of support for Western Rivers Conservancy’s proposed RV <br />acquisition and Salmon Recovery Funding Board funding request. <br />Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />Arden Thomas left the meeting at 9:40 A.M. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of August 29, 2022, they <br />would post a Thank You to Mr. Bruce Tabb for his time as Mayor and <br />on the City Council; A post promoting the Fair; the video from the <br />Mayor of Sanda City including information that the artwork from <br />Sanda City that will be on display at the fair this weekend; and a <br />post announcing the new HR Director. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2022 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br /> <br />Meeting concluded at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
