TERMS AND CONDITIONS Thb CONTRACT is entered hto by and between the INGTON ASSOCIATION OF SHERIFFS & POLICE CHIEFS (WASPC);and (coNTRACTOR). NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants, performances, ard promises conlained herein,the parties agree as follows: {. FUNDING SOURCE. Funding forthis CONTRACT is provided to WASPC by the Washington State Department of Health, through the American Rescue Plan Act of iOZ1,P.L' 1 17-2 and under the Detection & Mitigation of COVID-19 in Confinement Facilitiesproject, was awarded to WA DOH in Sept6mber 2021. The pass-through allocation forthe administration of the grant and pass through to local jails in the state-of Washington, is $2,658,279 (funding period of April 1,Z021,through June gO,2OZ4). 2. SCOPE OF SERVICES. CONTRACTOR shall usethe state funds awarded lereunder solely for salary, benefits, costs, and contracted services, goods, services, travel, and other essentialcosls to support the worUprojec'tdefined bythe S-TATEMENT oFWORK. 3- SCOPE OFWORK. The CONTRACTOR shall seek to implement the activities and to achieve thegoals and objectives of the Detention & Mitigation of COVID-19 in Jails Program, as set forth in the STATEMENT OF WORK. 4- SCOPE OF WORK REVISIONS. CONTRACTOR shall submit to WASPC a written request to effect any material change to the SCOPE OF WORK identified in the STATE- MENT OF WORK. Such requests shall be accompanied by a revised STATEMENT OF WORK 31^d olher supporting documents. Before any activities iupporting the revised SCOPE OF WORK are initiated, WASPC must approve the same in its sole and absolute discretion, which may be withheld. 5. BUDGET REVISIONS. CONTRACTOR shall submit to WASPC a written request to 9ff"91a.ny change(s) in the project budgetwhich reflect a cumulative transfer of great-er than len (10) percent inthe aggregate among budget tine items as indicated on the doVfnncr Face Sleet. WASPC may approve or dlny thb request ir its sole and absotute discretion. 6. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS. The CONTRACTOR shall perform the services as defined in the STATEMENT OF WORK incorporatad herein; in accordance with the budget and estimated expenditure plan, as stated on the CONTRACT Face Sheet and in accordance with the Detention & Mitigation of GOVID-19 in Jails Program, as well as other policies andprocedures issued by WASpC. 7, PERIOD OF OBLIGATION.
