Alder St. <br />n Gap, WA 98903 <br />DOCUMENT TITLE: Quit Claim Deed — Water Right <br />GRANTOR: Kittitas County, a political subdivision of the State of <br />Washington <br />GRANTEE: Washington State Department of Ecology, State Trust <br />Water Rights Program <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Instream Flow and Mitigation in the Teanaway, Yakima and <br />Columbia Rivers <br />QUIT CLAIM DEED — WATER RIGHT <br />GRANTOR, KITTITAS COUNTY ("Grantor"), for valuable consideration, hereby <br />conveys and quit claims to the WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY, <br />STATE TRUST WATER RIGHTS PROGRAM ("Grantee") all of Grantor's right, title <br />and interest in and to the water right under Certificate No. S4 -83722-J, described as <br />follows: <br />0.31 cubic feet per second from May 1 through July 31, 0.1 cubic feet per <br />second from August 1 through September 15, 44.95 acre per year (31.84 <br />consumptive acre-feet per year), instream in a reach beginning at a point <br />475 feet south and 200 feet west from the northeast corner of Section 8, <br />being within the NEY4NE'/4 of Section 8, T. 20 N., R. 16 E.W.M., and <br />continuing downstream in the Yakima River. In the Yakima River, from its <br />confluence with the Yakima River to the Parker Gage at Parker, <br />Washington when used for mitigation in Kittitas County. The remainder <br />continues to its confluence with the Columbia River.
