KITTITAS COUNTY <br />PUBLIC WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />In -Person and Webex <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY <br />Board Members Present <br />Brett Wachsmith. <br />1:30 PM <br />July 25, 2022 <br />Chairman Laura Osiadacz, and Commissioner <br />Others: Mark Cook, Josh Fredrickson, Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; <br />Jeremiah Cromie, Jeremy Johnston, Kelly Bacon, Community Development <br />Services; (1) member of public. <br />At 1:30 pm Chairman Laura Osiadacz opened the Public Works Study <br />Session. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />No comments. <br />REQUEST FOR BOCC SIGNATURE OF MYLAR GRANTING FINAL APPROVAL FOR <br />SUNCADIA PH.2 DIV. 7 PLAT (LPF-22-00004 & LP -22-00001) <br />Mark Cook briefed the Board of County Commissioners on discussion <br />with Suncadia and recommends final plat approval. Jeremy Johnston <br />submitted review history of the plat. Commissioner Brett Wachsmith <br />moved to approve, and Chairman Laura Osiadacz seconded the motion. <br />Motion passed. <br />ELN CARB LOANS <br />Mark Cook briefed the Board of County Commissioners on two loans for <br />Bowers Field. Mark Cook gave an update of Washington State Department <br />of Transportation, Aviation Division (WSDOT) funds available and <br />asked for direction on the Bowers Field business planning. Mark Cook <br />inquired if the Board wanted to proceed with an updated project <br />schedule and the utility project. Staff was directed to prepare <br />communication with WSDOT for Chair signature. <br />PROPOSED VACATION OF WHITE ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />Josh Fredrickson gave background on a request to vacate portion of <br />White Road. Josh Fredrickson stated that a portion of unconstructed <br />White Road right-of-way was acquired in the 2003 construction <br />project, but documentation to vacate was not completed. Josh <br />Fredrickson continued that utilities are in the unconstructed portion <br />and an easement would need to be prepared for consideration. Staff <br />was directed to schedule the public hearing to consider the vacation <br />of the right-of-way. <br />2022-7-25 Minutes <br />
