BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS CONSTRUCTION PHASE FOR VANTAGE HIGHWAY <br />OVER CASCADE CANAL (BRIDGE 89342) REPLACEMENT PROJECT CRP 2021-202 <br />WHEREAS: The Vantage Highway Over Cascade Canal (Bridge 89342) Replacement Project <br />was awarded Federal Funding through the Surface Transportation Block Grant <br />Regional Funds Program (STBG); and <br />WHEREAS: The final plans, specifications and estimate are near completion; and <br />WHEREAS: In preparation to advertise the project for construction in August 2022, Public <br />Works is requesting the Washington State Department of Transportation to <br />release the Federal Funds for construction; and <br />WHEREAS: A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />of the Board of County Commissioners acknowledging the project has been <br />reviewed and is consistent with the agency's comprehensive plan for community <br />development; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus Construction Phase for Vantage Highway <br />Over Cascade Canal (Bridge 89342) Replacement Project CRP 2021-202. <br />DATED on this 19' day of July 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
