Staff <br />will be directed to set up that meeting with the Board is ready. <br />Then in approximately 4 weeks they will regroup to discuss the other <br />draft evaluations. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION PHIL BACKLUND – CONTRACT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman Osiadacz reviewed an outline of elements to be considered <br />for the updated contract between the County and Mr. Backlund. The <br />Board agreed to the adjusted changes and felt keeping the pay the <br />same and having the Contract end on 12/31/2022 would be appropriate, <br />At that time the Board can revisit the Contract pending the progress <br />with the Management Team. <br /> <br />UPDATE BLAKE DECISION PROSECUTOR <br /> <br />Deputy Prosecutor Hartung provided a county status update to the <br />Board on the work that’s being done on the Blake Decision and <br />reminded the Board that various Counites are doing different things <br />but it is the Prosecutor’s Office recommendation to not sign the <br />extension and offered to provide future updates if the Board would <br />like. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of June 27, 2022 the Board <br />would post on their Facebook page about Patriot Nights Concert on <br />the 4th of July. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2022 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:40 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
