06/21/2022 MINUTES 4 RESOLUTION 2022-132 YAKIMA COUNTY SHERIFF SHERIFF Approve Resolution No. 2022-132, Authorizing an Interlocal Agreement between the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office for Mutual Aid Law Enforcement assistance. CORRESPONDENCE – NONE ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - NONE CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS - NONE BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS – NONE MISCELLANEOUS – NONE EXECUTIVE SESSION At 10:15 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 10 minutes with Stephanie Hartung, Deputy Prosecutor; Arden Thomas, Water Resource Program Manager; and Mark Cook, Public Works Director, relating to RCW 42.30.110(c)to consider the price at which real estate will be offered for sale or lease when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of decreased price. However, final action selling or leasing public property shall be taken in a meeting open to the public. Action was anticipated. At 10:25 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. The Board authorized entering into a Purchase and Sale Agreement for Water Rights between Kittitas County and Solar Dollar, LLC, as well as apply for grant funding. At 10:27 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 10 minutes with Arden Thomas, Water Resource Program Manager and Mark Cook, Public Works Director, relating to RCW 42.30.100(b) to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. However, final action selling or leasing public property shall be taken in a meeting open to the public. Potential action following. At 10:37 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. The Board directed Staff to look at the acquisition of property for the Flood Control Zone District and for the County to provide due diligence.
