BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF ROSLYN TO COMBINE 2017 AND 2022 FUND 108 <br />(DISTRESSED COUNTY SALES AND USE TAX) FUNDING FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF STORMWATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners awarded the City of Roslyn <br />$798,220 in Fund 108 funding in 2017; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners awarded the City of Roslyn <br />$262,500 in Fund 108 funding in 2022 for additional stormwater <br />improvements (Resolution 2022-046); and <br />WHEREAS: The City of Roslyn recently opened construction bids for constructing <br />the original stormwater improvements and said bids are <br />approximately forty percent (40%) over engineer's estimate; and <br />WHEREAS: The original project can be awarded and constructed providing the <br />Board of County Commissioners allows the City of Roslyn to <br />combine Fund 108 funding from 2017 with funding from 2022. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby authorize the City of Roslyn to combine 2017 and 2022 Fund 108 <br />funding for constructing stormwater improvements. <br />DATED this 2151 day of June 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
