BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />I►rel <br />VACATING HOLIDAY AVENUE FROM THE INTERSECTION OF BOAT <br />RAMP ROAD TO THE END OF HOLIDAY AVENUE (MILE POST 0.110) AND <br />PROVIDING AN ACCESS AND UTILITY EASEMENT TO WATER DISTRICT <br />NO.6 <br />WHEREAS: Public Works properly scheduled a public hearing receiving <br />testimony for the proposed vacation of Holiday Avenue from the <br />intersection with Boat Ramp Road to the end of Holiday Avenue <br />(Mile Post 0.110) and dedicating an access and utility easement to <br />Water District No. 6 on May 3, 2022, for a Public Hearing on May <br />17, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works properly requested a continuance of the public <br />hearing until June 21, 2022, allowing time to resolve concerns of <br />the public bridge along Holiday Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS: Concerns from the adjoining property owner over bridge <br />ownership and future replacement issues have been resolved; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works did provide the Board of County Commissioners <br />with the required Director's Report supporting the proposed <br />Holiday Road vacation; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners did conduct a public hearing <br />receiving testimony regarding the proposed vacation of Holiday <br />Avenue and subsequent access and utility easement to Water <br />District No. 6. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after <br />due consideration, does hereby order the vacation of Holiday Avenue from the <br />intersection of Boat Ramp Road to the end of the existing Holiday Avenue (Mile Post <br />0.110) and directs the County Engineer to amend the County Road Log, <br />NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners does <br />hereby order the granting of an access and utility easement to Water District No. 6 along <br />the vacated portion of Holiday Avenue to all Water District facilities. <br />
