Specific promotional tactics will include, but are not limited to: • Influencer marketing to encourage downloads and usage of the app • Content marketing on both stateofWAtourism.com and external sites relevant to SWT target audiences • Social media promotion of the app for downloads and usage • Push notification marketing to announce new features, available regions and to encourage app usage Marketing programs are expected to begin mid-summer of 2022, promoting widespread usage of the app among Washingtonians and visitors. SWT will also provide toolkits to counties contracting with TREAD Map App to help promote the app in their communities by summer 2022. TREAD Map Smart Phone App and Web Portal TREAD Map powers sustainable recreation and drives economic development for all communities. TREAD Map connects all outdoor enthusiasts through real-time interaction with land managers, user groups, and local businesses. This community-powered platform equips outdoor enthusiasts to recreate respectfully - and spend their dollars on Main Street - through locally informed messaging and destination management. TREAD Map is being developed by Dharma Maps in coordination with SWT and TREAD, which offers a connected suite of locally powered real-time mapping tools for communities, user groups, land managers, governments, and adventurers. They have been researching and mapping thousands of miles or trails in some of the most special places around the world for over 20 years. Attached as Exhibit A is a list of key features of the app as well as benefits for sponsors and information on the analytics and data available to sponsors.
