EXHIBITCOPERATIONALREQUIREMENTSOfficer/DeputyQualifications:AGENCYagreestoutilizeofficers/deputieswithlawenforcementcertificatesfromtheCriminalJusticeTrainingCommissionthatauthorizethemtoenforceallboatinglawsandregulations.Officers/deputieswhohavecompletedequivalenttrainingmaybeapprovedbytheSTATEPARKSDirectorordesignee.Officer/DeputyTrainingRequired:AGENCYagreestoensurethatallofficers/deputiesinvolvedintherecreationalboatingsafetyprogramattendtheWashingtonStateBasicMarineLawEnforcementTrainingcourse.STATEPARKSagreestoprovidethistrainingatnochargetoAGENCY.Onlyofficers/deputiesthathaveattendedthistrainingwillbeconsideredtrained.TheAGENCYrecognizestheNationalAssociationofBoatingLawAdministrators'BoatingCrewmemberCourseortheFederalLawEnforcementTrainingCenters'MarineLawEnforcementTrainingProgramasanequivalentcourse.Officers/deputiesmayattendanalternativeandequivalentcoursewithpriorwrittenSTATEPARKSapproval.NewPrograms,Officers/Deputies,MustAcquireTrainingWithinOneYear:AGENCYagreestoacquirerequiredtrainingforofficers/deputieswithinoneyearofbecominganapprovedprogram,andwithinoneyearforeachnewlyassignedboatingsafetyofficerldeputy.TrainingCurrency:AGENCYmustsubmitaBOATCurrencyRequirementsReportWebFormforallactivepersonnellistedontherostersubmittedwiththeA-299WebFormbyOctober15eachyear.Thesereportsmustbesubmittedatleastannuallybutmaybeupdatedthroughouttheyear.IfAGENCYfeelsthattheywillbeunabletocompletealltrainingtasksrequired,itshallsubmitastatementofexplanationtotheMarineLawEnforcementCoordinator.DocumentAdditionalTraining:AGENCYagreestolistontheA-299formanyadditionaltrainingcoursesitspersonnelhavecompleted.VesselsandEquipment:AGENCYagreestoacquireandmakeavailablethenecessaryboatingsafetypatrolequipment,includingvesselscapableofservingtheminimumrequirementsoutlinedinthisagreement.Patrolvesselsmustbeproperlymarkedandproperlyequippedasprovidedinchapter88.02RCWandchapter352-60WAC.Vessel,Aircraft,VehicleandEquipmentInventoryRequired:AGENCYagreestosupplySTATEPARKSwithaninventoryofallvessels,aircraft,vehicles,andequipmentutilizedintheUpdated10/1/2021Page9of25
