05/23/2022 MINUTES 2 <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and ratify the Chair’s <br />signature on a Crime Policy Renewal Application with the Hanover <br />Insurance Group. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT BART BLAND – KRD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to acknowledge the request from KRD and <br />approve the Vice-Chair’s signature on a letter to Bart Bland <br />appointing him to the KRD Board of Directors Division No. 4 <br />effective immediately, noting that he would be required to run for <br />election in the fall of 2022. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of May 23, 2022 the Board <br />would post on their Facebook page the Memorial Day Weekend events <br />taking place around the County, as well as any safety messages from <br />the Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2022 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor asked the Board if it was <br />still their desire to have a Budget Retreat this year.
