GOALS AND OBJECTIVES <br />MtsstoN The Mission of Kittitas County Airport - Bowers Field is to operate and develop the <br />Airport and lndustrial Park in a safe and efficient manner to encourage the <br />availability of high-quality aviation and non-aviation products, services, and <br />facilities; support professional aviation education programs; enhance the economic <br />benefit for the County; and support local and regional emergency preparedness. <br />vtstoN The Vision for the Kittitas County Airport - Bowers Field is to be the leading Central <br />Washington regional general aviation airport that is a vital and self-sufficient center <br />of air transportation and economic activity. <br />GOAL 3 lncrease the economic impact of the Airport on the community by twenty percent <br />(20%lbv the end of 2024 <br />OBJECTIVE <br />3-1 <br />IFrom Objective 1-4] <br />Develop a comprehensive Airport (including the industrial park) marketing and <br />public relations program by the end of 2O2ltor implementation in 2022 <br />OBJECTIVE <br />3-2 <br />Establish and host an annual aviation/community event by 2021 <br />OBJECTIVE <br />3-3 <br />Develop a marketing initiative to increase the use of the Airport and community by <br />aviation clubs, associations, and organizations (e.g., Experimental Aircraft Association, <br />aircraft owner clubs, etc.) by the end of 2022 for implementation in 2023 <br />OBJECTIVE <br />3-4 <br />lncrease the number of jobs based at the Airport by adding at least one (1) new <br />non-aeronautical commercial tenant with a substantial employment base by the <br />end of 2024 <br />OBJECTIVE <br />3-5 <br />[From Objective 1-5] <br />Solicit interest and proposals for improving/enhancing existing and/or developing <br />new specialized aeronautical products and services (e.g., flight training, aircraft <br />rental, aircraft maintenance, etc.) and associated facilities at the Airport by the <br />end of 2023 tor initiation in 2024 <br />OBJECTIVE <br />3-6 <br />IFrom Objective 1-6] <br />Solicit interest and proposals for developing aerospace products and services and <br />associated facilities at the Airport by the end of 2O24 for initiation in2O25 <br />Airport Strategic Business Plan, 0712612021 5
