CU -30832 j The UpdateTask API is enhanced to displaythe actual Human Resources (HR) <br />ierror, as opposed to a generic error in the Connect Self Service products. <br />PAYROLL <br />2020 WA Changes <br />JIRA # CAYENTA FEATURE DESCRIPTION <br />CP -5970 Cayenta Payroll and Human Resource modules support the changes the United <br />States Government passed for W4 processing beginning in the year 2020. This <br />includes a new W4 form, income adjustment as amounts not as allowances, and <br />support for percentage or wage bracket methods for withholding. This also <br />includes the necessary changes to Year -End Processing for carrying over the <br />jinformation to the new payroll year. <br />Audit Mode: Run Regular Payroll Process <br />JIRA# <br />CP -6038 <br />CAYENTA FEATURE DESCRIPTION <br />Cayenta enhanced Payroll to allow you to process payroll in Audit mode for a pay <br />period. No table updates are completed; however, all reports are produced <br />allowing you to complete the validation of the process. <br />The Payroll Emp!oyee Inquiry is also enhanced and allows you to inquire on an <br />employee processed in the Audit mode run. This can be run as often as you like, <br />before processing the Live payroll for the pay period. <br />Canada Pension Plan Rates Table Enhancement <br />JIRA # CAYENTA FEATURE DESCRIPTION <br />P-6307 In Jira CP -6308, we added a new field: Year's Maximum Pensionable Earnings <br />(YMPE) on the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Rates Table. <br />This Jira enhances Rule 20: Deduction based on % rate up to one (pen gross + tax <br />ben) plus a second % rate of the rest of (pen gross + tax ben) by adding a new <br />Parameter number 7 to indicate if using the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) table <br />YMPE field. <br />These changes reduce the manual intervention and maintenance of the <br />deductions every time the rate changes. It also reduces the number of deductions <br />required, as you will no longer have to create special deductions for groups with <br />different pay cycles. This enhancement may be useful to customers who process <br />OMERS deductions as well. <br />CP -6308 Cayenta added a new field: Year's Maximum Pensionable Earnings (YMPE) on the <br />Canada Pension Plan Rates Table.
