Dr. John Asriel <br />moved to approve the February 17, 2022 Board of Health meeting minutes as presented. Cory Wright second. <br />All approved. Motion 03-03 carried to approve the February 17, 2022 Board of Health meeting minutes as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Public Comment Opened at 10:15am <br />Public Comment Closed at 10:15am <br /> <br />Department updates <br />Health Officer Update <br />Dr. Mark Larson updated the board on the following topics: <br />• Current COVID-19 situation (trends) in Washington and counties <br />• Kittitas County COVID-19 incidence rates <br />• Vaccination rates <br />• Mask mandate lifted March 12 <br />• Blood donations needed <br /> <br />There was follow up discussion on topics above. <br /> <br />Director’s Report <br />Ms. Lamb updated the board on the following topics: <br />• Staff update: Whitney Wheelock, new Medical Assistant at KCPHD starting April 4th. <br />• Regional Health officer updates <br />• BOHAC Public Health Champion nominations now open <br />• Ask to recognize the work that the Community Health Workers of Kittitas County are doing at the April <br />Board of Health meeting. <br />BOH members agreed to recognize work of Community Health Workers during the April Bo ard of Health meeting. <br /> <br />Other Business <br />Developmental Disabilities Update <br /> <br />Kasey Knutson gave a Developmental Disabilities update to the board by presenting the budget and talking about <br />the different programs that are associated with it. <br /> <br />Consider and approve Proclamation recognizing National Public Health Week <br /> <br />Kasey Knutson presented Proclamation to recognize National Public Health Week April 4-10, 2022. <br /> <br />Discussion on the addition of signature lines for all Board of Health members to the Proclamation. <br /> <br />Motion to approve Proclamation recognizing National Public Health Week April 4-10, 2022 with amendment to add <br />signature lines for all Board of Health members. <br />Motion 03-04: Motion to approve Proclamation recognizing National Public Health Week April 4-10, 2022. Cory <br />Wright moved to approve Proclamation recognizing National Public Health Week April 4-10, 2022 with the <br />amendment to add signature lines for all Board of Health members. Brett Wachsmith second.
