Motion 03-03: Motion to approve the February 17, 2022 Board of Health meeting minutes. Dr. John Asriel moved to approve the February 17, 2022 Board of Health meeting minutes as presented. Cory Wright second. All approved. Motion 03-03 carried to approve the February 17, 2022 Board of Health meeting minutes as presented. Public Comment Opened at 10:15am Public Comment Closed at 10:15am Department updates Health Officer Update Dr. Mark Larson updated the board on the following topics: • Current COVID-19 situation (trends) in Washington and counties • Kittitas County COVID-19 incidence rates • Vaccination rates • Mask mandate lifted March 12 • Blood donations needed There was follow up discussion on topics above. Director’s Report Ms. Lamb updated the board on the following topics: • Staff update: Whitney Wheelock, new Medical Assistant at KCPHD starting April 4th. • Regional Health officer updates • BOHAC Public Health Champion nominations now open • Ask to recognize the work that the Community Health Workers of Kittitas County are doing at the April Board of Health meeting. BOH members agreed to recognize work of Community Health Workers during the April Bo ard of Health meeting. Other Business Developmental Disabilities Update Kasey Knutson gave a Developmental Disabilities update to the board by presenting the budget and talking about the different programs that are associated with it. Consider and approve Proclamation recognizing National Public Health Week Kasey Knutson presented Proclamation to recognize National Public Health Week April 4-10, 2022. Discussion on the addition of signature lines for all Board of Health members to the Proclamation. Motion to approve Proclamation recognizing National Public Health Week April 4-10, 2022 with amendment to add signature lines for all Board of Health members. Motion 03-04: Motion to approve Proclamation recognizing National Public Health Week April 4-10, 2022. Cory Wright moved to approve Proclamation recognizing National Public Health Week April 4-10, 2022 with the amendment to add signature lines for all Board of Health members. Brett Wachsmith second.
