6. Sustainability: Describe your ability, experience, and resources to implement and <br />sustain the project during the term of the project. (250 words max.) <br />HopeSource owns and operates over 806 affordable housing units throughout Central <br />Washington. All affordable housing prolects have maintained their affordability over the <br />years, are fully funded, and have sufficient operating reserves to maintain the structures <br />and serve the populations as intended. HopeSource manages 78 local, state, and <br />federal contracts and has an excellent standing with funders. Case advocates are highly <br />trained professionals who recertify in their training regularly. <br />HopeSource uses the Abila MIP fund accounting financial management system, a <br />comprehensive, configurable solution that enables staff to make better financial <br />decisions, execute financial management with greater precision, and better track, report, <br />and manage finances across the entire organization. HopeSource financial controls <br />include adherence to Fiscal Policies supported by OMB Circular requirements and <br />accounting practices.
